As a hosted buyer, your attendance at The International Running Expo is more than just a chance to connect with the world’s top running brands—it’s an opportunity to discover new products, forge strategic partnerships, and gain insights that will drive your business forward.
The IRX Hosted Buyer Programme is for senior retail & e-commerce decision makers looking to connect with leading brands, uncover the latest innovations and drive their businesses forward.
With limited space available on the IRX Hosted Buyer Programme, we recommend you submitting your application as soon as possible to be considered for the programme.
Who can apply to the programme?
Anyone can apply to be part of the Hosted Buyer Programme. You’ll need to meet our qualifying criteria which includes being a multi-site retailer or a large online retailer with direct purchasing power who’s actively attending IRX to source new products and suppliers.
What am I committing to if I attend as a hosted buyer?
We ask that you attend IRX with business at the forefront of your visit and you attend both show days for the full opening hours. The easiest way to do business at IRX is to engage with the exhibitors and to book meetings with them. We ask our hosted buyers to commit to a minimum of 5 pre-booked meetings per day.
How much does it cost?
As a hosted buyer, you will receive a free ticket to attend IRX plus reimbursement towards your travel and accommodation. The reimbursement amount will depend on where you’re travelling from.
Travelling from the Netherlands: up to €130
Travelling from within Europe: up to €300
Travelling from USA: up to €500

How does the application process work?
Please complete the online application here and select the Hosted Buyer ticket type to apply to be part of the programme. If you’ve been invited by an exhibiting brand, please ensure you let us know who has invited you. Once you’ve submitted your application, this will be verified by our team and you’ll be sent a confirmation email if you’ve been successful. Please note; the verification process can take up to 5 business days. Once you’ve been approved, you’ll receive a link to register as a hosted buyer.
If you’re unsuccessful as a hosted buyer, you can still register as a visitor to attend IRX and will have access to the show, the IRX app, and be able to network with other attendees.
If I am successful, how do I get reimbursed for my travel & accommodation?
Once you’ve received confirmation from IRX that you’re part of the hosted buyer programme, please book your travel and accommodation. Once you’ve booked this, please share your invoices with the IRX team and after the Expo has taken place, we will reimburse you for the agreed amount.
Our travel reimbursement fees are as follows:
Travelling from the Netherlands: up to €130
Travelling from within Europe: up to €300
Travelling from USA: up to €500
