  • Judith Havers

    Reach: 7,545

Judith Havers is an experienced runner and outdoor enthusiast with a passion for long-distance challenges. Originally focused on road races from 10km to marathons, she soon discovered her love for trail and ultra-running, tackling some of the toughest races in the world and making it the centerpiece of her athletic career.

Her impressive accomplishments include multiple finishes at the TransAlpineRun, a legendary 250km race with 15,000m of altitude gain, and a podium finish in her first 100km race in the Sahara Desert, which she won in 2020.

Judith thrives on self-organized projects and chasing Fastest Known Times (FKTs) on long-distance trails. She completed a 220km trail run nonstop in 40 hours and led a team through ten marathons in ten days across Sweden. She’s also no stranger to winning Obstacle Course Races.

Her most extreme adventure was completing the 500km Montane Lapland Arctic Ultra, where she pulled all her supplies on a sled through sub-zero temperatures and breathtaking landscapes. Additionally, she conquered the CrossingSwitzerland challenge, covering 395 kilometers with 30,000 meters of elevation gain.

When not competing abroad, Judith calls Hamburg, Germany, her home. While the city’s flat terrain is less than ideal for mountain training, she takes every opportunity to explore new countries and cultures, often planning her travels around races.

Fueled by an insatiable appetite for endurance challenges, Judith not only pushes her own limits but also inspires others to embark on their adventures through her work as a passionate sports writer and marketing consultant.

  • Sander Gabel

In the running community, I’m known as ‘Runbrandt’ for my GPS art creations. Running is the most natural form of exercise, but when the focus is solely on speed, it can feel like a mismatch for many. Through GPS art, I aim to inspire non-active people to start running or hiking, and encourage experienced runners to slow down and enjoy their longer runs by creating fun shapes.

I launched the Runbrandt project in early 2019 with an Instagram account that showcased GPS art in the shape of animals. In 2020, during the pandemic, I revived the project, which gained significant media attention, leading to a surge in popularity across the Netherlands.

Since then, I have organized various GPS art fundraiser events for causes like:

    • Plastic Soup Foundation
    • Serious Request (Red Cross)
    • Villa Pardoes (holidays for children with illnesses and their families)
    • Vrienden Diergeneeskunde (cancer research for animals)

I have also partnered with the RunGo app and Hilton Hotels to create a running program and have delivered presentations, talks, and guided GPS art runs as part of brand activations and store events.

The goal is to change the way people view running or walking. When you’re focused on creating a drawing, time and distance become secondary, making it ideal for long-distance runs.

  • Tasha Thompson

    Reach: 3,596

Tasha Thompson has been running and participating in running events since 1999. She lives in London, with her two children.  She has participated in running events from 5km to 50km, is an avid parkrun participant and cycles and swims a little too.

In 2019 to celebrate 20 years of running and Tasha decided to give back to the sport she loves to play and that has given her so much and created Black Girls Do Run UK; a community which became a charity in October 2023 to inspire, encourage and motivate regular black women to run.   The group was founded based on her experiences throughout her years of running and noticing that there was a lack of diversity in races and running in general, so she decided to try and do something about it. The initial aim of the group was to increase visibility of regular black women running and to meet up at races and it has grown into an amazing community and Tasha and all who are part of it are incredibly proud of.

Tasha is a huge advocate of running and believes that with the right encouragement anyone can run and call themselves a runner.  She is especially passionate about running at our own happy pace, run/walk intervals, enjoying the process, celebrating achievements, and finding creative ways to fit running and movement into our busy lives.
