Wild Cherry with active ingredient CherryPURE® for better recovery
Recovery is a topic that concerns many athletes, as there is often underestimated potential for optimising performance. The higher the training intensity, the more important recovery is. To meet these requirements, the Powerbar Black Line has been supplemented with the new Refuel Clear Recovery Drink Wild Cherry, which focuses entirely on the athlete’s recovery in an innovative way and based on the latest scientific and physiological findings.
The key to recovery: 70g carbohydrates and 20g protein per serving
With 70g of carbohydrates and a mixture of maltodextrin and fructose, the Powerbar Refuel Clear Recovery Drink focuses on an optimally tolerated combination of carbohydrates, which optimally supports the resynthesis of carbohydrate stores in the body. Combined with 20g of high-quality whey protein, all essential protein building blocks are provided to initiate muscle regeneration after training and additionally support carbohydrate absorption. This allows athletes to maximise their performance and quickly return to the starting line in top form.
CherryPURE® as a special extra
The functional tart cherry powder, CherryPURE®, has been shown in studies* to be anti-inflammatory and promote regeneration due to its high polyphenol content. Athletes report less muscle soreness and better sleep. Studies show that the reduction of free radicals also contributes to faster recovery.
High performance with new flavours
However, the new Refuel Clear Recovery Drink is not the only new addition to the Powerbar range. Due to the success of the Black Line in 2024, Powerbar is expanding its product range with new flavours. In addition to Lemon, the Powerbar Fuel 90 Sports Drink is now also available in Unflavoured and in refreshing Orange flavour. The Powerbar Fuel Gel 30 is being expanded to include the flavours Cola Orange, Grapefruit and Peach.
Practical dosing with no calculations
Thanks to the Mix & Match carbohydrate system, energy intake can be planned and dosed without complicated calculations. Thanks to units with quantities of 30/60/90g of carbohydrates, athletes can always put together the perfect nutrition for their training or race.
